在科技新大陆DC-DC升压变换器在手机领域的作用及功能模块

More and more mobile phones support the NFC function. At present, flagship and medium and high end machines produced by mobile phone manufacturers of various brands support NFC function.

越来越多的手机支持NFC功能。目前各个品牌的手机生产商生产的旗舰机和中高端机都支持NFC功能。


The voltage that can be supplied to the NFC module in the mobile phone is the battery voltage.

手机里面现成 的, 能给NFC模块供电的电压是电池电压。


But when the battery voltage is full of electricity, the output voltage will decrease with the use of customers.

但是电池电压在充满电以后,输出电压会随着客户的使用越来越低。

The reliable working range of the NFC module has a great relationship with its power supply voltage. The lower the supply voltage, the narrower the reliable working range is.

而NFC模块的可靠工作范围和其供电电压有很大的关系,供电电压越低,可靠工作范围越窄。



Therefore, if the battery is powered by the battery to the NFC module directly, the performance of the NFC module will become worse and worse with the decrease of the battery power, which greatly affects the user experience.

因此,如果直接拿手机内置电池给NFC模块供电,那么NFC模块的性能会随着电池电量的减少而越来越差, 大大影响了用户体验。


If the battery voltage is transferred through a DC-DC boost converter to a fixed voltage (5V or 5.2V) power supply to the NFC module, the output of the DC-DC boost converter will remain unchanged even if the battery voltage is very low, and the NFC module will be able to work steadily, and the user will not be able to use the electricity when using the NFC function. The decrease in the capacity of the pool is affected.

如果将电池电压通过一个DC-DC升压变换器转换到一个固定的电压(5V或 5.2V)给NFC模块供电,那么即使电池电压降得很低,DC-DC升压变换器的输出能保持始终不变,NFC模块就能一直稳定工作,用户在使用NFC功能的时候就不会因为电池电量的减小而受到影响。


图1给出了DC-DC升压变换器给NFC模块供电的示意图。

但是给手机里面的NFC模块供电的电源芯片还有一个重要的指标,就是低辐射噪声,如果电源芯片的辐射噪声大,会干扰到手机的正常通讯,也会干扰到NFC模块的正常工作。

But the power chip to power the NFC module in the mobile phone has an important indicator, that is, low radiation noise. If the radiation noise of the power chip is large, it will interfere with the normal communication of the mobile phone, and it will also interfere with the normal work of the NFC module.


下面我们来看一下TPS61256A辐射噪声的测试结果。

图2给出了用于辐射测试的升压变换器XC9119的原理图和参数。

Figure 2 shows the schematic and parameters of the boost converter XC9119 for radiation test.

输入电压是3.6V, 输出电压是芯片默认电压5V。

The input voltage is 3.6V, and the output voltage is the chip default voltage 5V.


电感感量是1uH,输入电容的有效值是2.8uF,输出电容的有效值是7uF。

Inductance inductance is 1uH, the effective value of input capacitance is 2.8uF, and the effective value of output capacitance is 7uF.


输入和输出没有加任何额外的诸如像磁珠之类的滤波器。测试用的PCB板 是XC9119的评估板,也就是将XC9119直接焊在XC9119的评估板上作的测试。

Input and output do not add any extra filters, such as magnetic beads. The PCB board used for the test is the evaluation board of XC9119, that is, the direct test of XC9119 on the evaluation board of XC9119.


测试标准是CISPR22 Class B。

The test standard is CISPR22 Class B.

图3 给出了XC9119辐射噪声的测试结果。

我们可以看到即使不加任何滤波器,用普通的四层板就可以通过CISPR22 Class B等级的辐射测试。

在700MHZ到1GHZ这段手机通讯频段的辐射噪声非常小,因此XC9119非常适合给手机里的NFC模块供电。

From 700MHZ to 1GHZ, the radiated noise of the mobile phone communication band is very small, so XC9119 is very suitable for power supply of NFC module in mobile phone.
